Welcome to the Lanier Baseball page! Our baseball team is a combination of 6th, 7th, and 8th graders that play other HISD schools in the Houston area. The HISD season runs from February - April with about 10 regular season games and an end of the season tournament. 

 

Players must complete their Aktivate (www.registermyathlete.com) profile before tryouts. Please see the main Athletics page for all the details.

 

Tryout information:

Tryouts are scheduled for two days but you must come at least one day. Players are encouraged to attend both dates as we'll be hitting one day and field on the other. There is an addition day for pitchers/catchers to tryouts.

Bring your glove, baseball hat, and BBCOR bat (-3 weight/length difference only per league rules) to the field. I have a couple gloves and bats if someone needs to borrow for the day.
